In my current project for BYOND casual's competition, I plan on letting players battle each other as robots, like Battle Bots (or whatever they're called). Right now, the whole game is only really a work in progress (lots of debug commands and just the shell of an engine), but I plan on hopefully finishing it for the Sunday's deadline. Either way, I wanna know how important customization is to you guys. At the moment, I have a small customizable 16x16 design you can place on your robot (you draw it using the built in editor). However, should it be bigger? Each robot is a circle with a radius of 16 (meaning that the design takes up between about 1/3 and 1/4 of the robot). Also, should I make the design circular instead of square? Should I also make other colors customizable, like maybe add other little parts that extend slightly out of its bounding circle area?
battling robots... doesn't really sound too casual to me o.o

Feval is in BYOND Casual.

That's how I actually came up with the idea. I was originally going to make a board game, but I don't like making them, so when I noticed Feval in the guild, I decided to try to make a game about as casual as it.
