Church Fail in Off Topic

Read this.

Isn't that lulzy? The church finally seems to have decided that they can't do good things if gays can get married.

Also, in other news, procreating like rabbits is good for society (because we all know Darwin was wrong about species overproducing and succumbing to famine).

I heard about that on the news.

The church thinks they have more power than they actually do.

They're still one of the richest organisations in the world - probably the richest - have branches world-wide, and a lot of political capital. Don't write them off, even if their membership is declining.

We should encourage overpopulation. That way, when everyone begins to starve, the more adaptable humans will survive.

The only problem is that hicks probably own more guns than intellectuals, so while you have your intellectual creating a homemade spear, you have your mentally challenged citizens running around with a blunt stick and a shotgun.

By the way gays are gay and everything that is gay should be annihilated. It's my personal opinion.

wow, this makes me rage. they're holding the lives of many at stake simply to force government to comply with their intolerance.

seriously. they're threatening to cut off aid to thousands of adopted/homeless/etc just because they're scared that "they would have to obey city laws prohibiting discrimination against gay men and lesbians". how do they justify this?

Naw. If you're smart, you aren't going to be crafting a home made spear in this day and age. You'll be hijacking an aircraft carrier in the ensuing panic.

As long as gay people don't hit on me (unless they're lesbian) or show deep affection in public (again, unless they're lesbian), then I don't have a problem with it.

It's not like there's a reason to hate gays...It's not the guy preventing you from getting laid...So what other reason is there?

more gay people = more women who aren't taken (and are often lonely because they got turned down by a gay guy) = more vaginas for straight people

so if anything, gays are helping heteros
