well this is more suggestions...
I would like to hear any suggestions that you think would be great in a game... maybe it's already implemented in a game, etc, I know I can think for myself and try figuring stuff out, but this would just save me lots of time, and well thinking... and I bet Lexy knows how much it hurts my head to think. Sooo, any idea's? What would you like to see in my game... and no it's not going to be just another dbz game, although at the beginning I was thinking of puting in, RPG classes, each unique, then also puting in a dbz class to attract the masses and allowing the human race to build things that were in certain tv shows...

Too general. It's usually impossible to come up with ideas on the fly for a game unless we know how they'll fit into the game.

no it's not...
I mean just like, a future you liked in a different game, or would work with that type of game, etc, so I can think about it and try fitting it in in some way :P I want to hear as many idea's as I can before I go off and finish this project

An ideal game for you to create:

A game that has no DBZ theme whatsoever, has beutiful graphics (*gasp*better then ensya's graphics*), and has perfectly balenced play. Can do?

I'm trying to think where I've seen this typeface design... Iron Maiden?

(Note the redundant word "design" is included to keep it relevant to "Design Philosophy.")

Lord of Water, I'm working on the graphics part, it may have SOME dbz parts in it, so it'll be like the classic RPG mixed with everything to make a totally unique game, and no it's not even close to finished, beta 1 may be coming out soon though, it'll only be about 1% OF the actual game, I haven't been working on the game much since I'm a leader of a Counter-strike clan and we scrim all the time and compete in ladders.

Actually, it's Steel Lord. Pretty close. :D

I was joking.
I just don't like eben a tidbit of DBZ. Maybe a "Anime Adventure" game would spark the mob?

Uhh,

A)some dbz parts
B)mixed with everything
C)totally unique

Which doesn't fit. :)

Not that I don't mind dbz games... Well, I do, but I don't care if someone goes and makes another. But no matter how small the ammount of unoriginal content is... it's still unoriginal content, so you couldn't really say you're world was totally unique.

Of course, this isn't in anyway meant to be a putdown to your project. My world isn't totally unique either. The source is (other than Deadrons stuff), and the storyline and world history are, but I'm using a few graphics from a rom, and my midis aren't original.
In response to Zagreus (#7)
no it can be totally unique if you don't make the dbz part like any other game :P
In response to JonSnow13 (#8)
But it still has that "dbz" tag...

Do what you wish.

I can't win this one.

to late, there's already one, well there was one, but it hasn't been up for quite some time...
ya I'm considering ditching the whole dbz thing, but I saw bardock's special movie, oh well... maybe I'll just do a tribute to "Piers Anthony" I think that's his name, the Xanth series, I like his concept of everyone is born with a special talent.

Xanth ain't exactly the novel genre that can be easily transmuted into game format.

Companions of Xanth had to be one of the biggest flop games in existence.

So, unless you're a champion with puns like Pier Xanth Ony is, I'd suggest to steer clear...

Now, if you just borrow that talent aspect and steer clear of the rest, that's a little better, but you're still going for the weird fantasy thing where (quoting Lexy, since you dislike her so much ;-) "everyone and their sibling has magical powers". If you can make it work, it's great. Otherwise, you can expect lots of grief-players.
