Descriptive Problem Summary:

When you reply to a post in a forum, you see the post you're replying to at the bottom of the page, below the post-message-box. You also see info such as the date, topic, etc of the post.
The bug is that the topic seen there always has "Re: " at its beginning, even if the post doesn't have it in its topic (if it does, then the topic is shown correctly).
This is intentional behavior.
Hmm? What's its purpose, then?
Since you see the post itself you're replying to with all its info, I'd expect the info shown to be completely consistent with the post's actual info, rather than different.
For that matter, if was intended, then I'd guess you should get "Re: Re :" if the original topic already began with "Re: ".
Just making sure, you know I'm talking about the review-of-the-post-you're-replying-to topic, not your own post (reply)'s topic, right?
