I think it would be great to have a feature in DreamMaker for making 64x64 icons, instead of toying with them to get the bugs worked out from programming them to be multi-tiles. It could be like an extra option for making an icon in the menu.
That's what pixel_y & pixel_x are for.

The reason this isn't implemented is because you'd need to recode the entire system. The system is based off of 32x32 icons with the necessary hit detection to support those. To implement 64x64 icons as a stock option would require all new code for hit detection and a number of other things, such as view calculation and the like. It's really not that hard to make scrolling mobs, and there are quite a few demos released regarding it.
