I have wanted to a Byond game for ages and now i have put my mind to it.
I opened up the dream maker and made a new enviroment but i dont know where to go from here.
Under the Developers tab in your top-bar, there's 2 useful links.
One is The Guide (http://www.byond.com/docs/guide/) which you should start off with first, and the second is the Reference (http://www.byond.com/docs/ref/) which will help you understand more on the things you learn with The Guide.
Start there, don't just attempt to jump into code just yet, because you won't be able to.

Beat me to it lol. Well said. Not exacly new jajaja
Other than the Blue Book and Reference, here is a great tutorial to get you started. The New Book, Chapter 1 should help you get the basics of DM down and get you on your way to becoming an expert programmer. Also, keep in mind that getting good doesn't happen overnight, but as long as you work at it, you will get better. I don't know of any programmers who were good at the start. All of them, Lummox JR, DarkCampainger, and Tiberath all started out as novices at one point. Now you look at them as pioneers within the BYOND community. The only other tip i have, that has helped all programmers get better, including myself, is experimentation. Throughout various tutorials and code snippets will be chances to change it how you like, and edit the overall result. Whenever you can, try changing pieces of code from these sources to put your own touch. By doing this, you're reinforcing the basics in your mind and helps the coding process become easier and faster. Good Luck.
