do you not read have i not sed above that the person who made the renders put them on a forum for every one to use as much as they wanted in anyway they wanted?
That's not what he's talking about. Ter is talking about the use of Naruto characters in your signatures. You probably don't have the rights to use them in your signatures.
I have no reason to be embarassed. That's great he can draw. I am just sick of him calling everyone theifs. It's people like him who push communities apart. Say what ever the hell you want to about me or this, I don't care, I don't feel like arguing. I have lotsa more to say but I'm mature to know when enough is enough.
And yet, can't tell an artist from a thief. Xooxer's quite right. The word "render" would suggest this is entirely original artwork run through a program to create it from base data, but it is not. The author took someone else's picture and added trendy stuff to it.
Ok maybe I can see where you guys are coming from, but you could have said it nicer, being I believe he said he was a beginner.
A beginner would create their own crappy work, from which they could learn and go on to create less crappy work, then eventually good work. For taking someone else's material and running filters over it, there's not exactly a learning curve involved.

Did you happen to miss the part where Ter explained what the word "render" means? You can't call those images renders because they were not rendered. Those are simple 2D art, either drawn and scanned or else drawn with a tool for making such art. A render is the conversion of data (not necessarily in 3D) to an image representing it, like with ray-tracers and other programs which mostly are in the 3D realm.

Does it really matter to everyone so much as to waste so much space on the front Community page? This is all so senseless. One or two replies would have been fine, but this is getting out of hand. If he wants to use a premade render(and sure it's not technically a render, but widespread common use of the word points to that), let him. It doesn't hurt you. It may not be his work, but it's teaching him how to go about using the program, so lay off.
(And yes I know my post hypocritical and wasting space, too.)
excellent rant, except nobody was claiming to be an artist. its just a "sig" that will probably be used on some naruto message board. they're just fans showing appreciation, like a sports fan wearing a jersey of his favorite player.
Just to be pedantic, a render can also be hand drawn (hand rendered) as is common in architectural and interior design. Generally, such a render is based on a blueprint and helps to give an idea of what the result will look like. CAD/CAM programs can also provide a computer render and multiple views.
Of course, in online use a rendered image almost always refers to a computer generated image, generally produced with 3d imaging software (though, as LummoxJR points out this need not be the case). And a composite or filtered image produced from the works of others is in no way a render- in any sense of the word.
You are in college, yet you only show up for classes two days each week? No wonder why you cannot spell. You should listen to what she said. Not "sed." Elation is totally right about what he just said too.
