And why would I want to do this over, say, running VNC on my home computer with Amazon S3 for document storage? It appears to just be an automated service to sling X displays to clients via something like VNC. And how can you access it from any mobile phone when it requires both javascript and Flash, both of which most cell phones don't support, and those that do support Flash only do "Flash Lite", which is likely too stripped down for this to work.

I feel like true cloud based distributed personal computing is possible(I think I just made up a new term there 'CBDPC'), but this is certainly not it.

Part of the whole point of CBDPC is to move away from the importance of the operating system and into the importance of the browser, which is already well developed for every major OS, and is getting better every day thanks to very tough competition. Not to move the OS to someone elses hardware. I mean, you already have to have an OS all the way to having Flash installed in a browser to use this, so what's the point? If they where offering a thin client OS to install on existing hardware, perhaps I would view this differently.
Its just fun to mess with ....
