Why do dozens of n00bs page me saying that they or their friend is a hacker and "We've got your code!" they usually start that Bull-woo after I piss them off, it is annoying as woo. Then I piss them off more and they shutup so it's all good in the end.

because they are idiots and there IS a way to get someone else's code through hacking, but that requires INTELLIGENCE, something people who act like that LACK. I mess with people, but I never steal code or use other people's icons.

Usually this just doesn't exist, if a person takes even the simplest precautions. And by "I mess with people", does that mean you often make hacking threats too? no, I don't threaten to do THAT, I mess with people's heads when I'm in games, I'll log in for a second, log out and then name myself just like the master GM, and then start ordering people around, I'll do all kinds of crap like that, I get bored and stuff... although me and chord did something really awful the other day, we totally destroyed the town in build n' chat... I felt really bad after they booted us, and I decided not to log back in...

Which reminds me of a joke An old man and his grandson are walking down the street one day when they pass two of the tallest buildings the kid has ever seen. The terrorists were likely trying to get the Americans to retaliate, to raise sympathy for their side ("Look, we damage their buildings and kill a few hundred of their people, and they come over here and bomb everyone in sight!"). Bush did just that -- except, fortunately, the administration aimed for al-Qaeda rather than the civilians. Plus, the al-Qaeda probably assumed that the WTC was a lot more structurally capable than that (the towers were earthquake-proof and reinforced, after all!), so they only expected deaths in the hundreds, not thousands (as the bin Laden tapes testify). | |
