Okay, who's idea was it to make those God awful 'text to graphic' sites? Only people that I notice to use them are children with a lust to make their webpage(or HUB in this example) into an eye raping browser killer such as what is done here.
Seriously, this isn't 2002 anymore. We have Gimp and Photoshop now.

Anyway, what I wanted to blog about was this Sabre00 kid and his comment on his game's HUB which says, "Using This Source Until Finished With Official Source". Log on the game and what do you know. It's one of the commonly ripped Pokemon Underworld sources. This just leads to my idea that there is no game in progress, just an excuse for not bothering to learn DM and make something of their own.
Now, I may be wrong and Sabre00 may have some sort of revolutionary breakthrough of a game(lolk), but why host a rip, or ANYTHING for that matter if you have something being worked on?

This may just be because I am somewhat of a perfectionist with little things, but is it that hard to resist the, "olol i hav a gam up on byond!1!19", and just hold off? I mean, all it does is give you, your game(if any) a bad reputation and maybe your integrity. Now, if you have a halfway playable game, and want to go ahead and put it up; more power to you. Just don't host something else in it's place. Especially if the placeholder is a stolen source.

Couldn't help but put that out there. So thanks if anybody bothered reading those couple paragraphs.
I also might be releasing some snippets and systems from PSe sometime in the next week, granted I don't pick it up again.

I don't play games enough to really know what the rips are anymore.
Only games I really play anymore are Feval and Teridal. not to mention the occasional Witches Chess.

Sure, your game's HUB has some unnecessarily huge (in metric size) image but, oh, because it's not "eye-raping" it's suddenly perfectly acceptable. HUB descriptions that consist of purely a single image or images boil my blood, because they make me feel, even if it's not true, that you've spent more time on your HUB than your game.

Yeah, I was thinking the same exact thing. To me, it's just an excuse, why would you host a rip if you're in the process of making an original game? It doesn't make sense to me. I can understand, to a certain extent, where people use pixel arts until their work is eventually done. (If it's in beta) but later, I expect the old pixel arts to be replaced by the new ones.

Get beta testers together and put them to work. Don't be idiotic and host a game in it's place.
