WOW Sony! And this isn't even including the fact they accidentally had one of their staff release one of multiple access codes to the Ps3.
Sony is being too anal about this. Microsoft has more issues then sony and they aren't even going to this extreme. Which is why I have an xbox and not a ps3
It wasn't REALLY one of their staff, it's their advertising company.

Still rediculously stupid on all Sony-Related ends.

Oh yes, it's ridiculously stupid that Sony's advertising company isn't up-to-speed on the intricate details of the product that their client created, and that this guy might've assumed that a hex string might be related to battleship because he's not the programmer type and all but two or three of the digits in that key would've been valid battleship coordinates. What an idiot, right?
I think the MPAA threatening to take Google offline for pirating is sillier.

Maybe Sony should hire a guy who knows what the hell he's doing and talking about. Besides all these major companies are being too anal about little things. I could understand if they were just starting out so its penny pinching but Sony? The makers of PS,TV,DVD players, and hundreds of other things.

Sony is wothless anymore just because they put in stupid usb slots so lazy people that dont want to redownload stuff can save their data! Thanks to that look what we have no jailbreakers!!! and sony trys to fix this so funny

(removed general threatening comment - it's not needed here, folks -digitalmouse)

I don't quite think I understand what you said here. If you would kindly put down the bottle of vodka and spell it out for me, it would be much appreciated.

Are you saying that Sony is "wothless" BECAUSE they added USB support to their home entertainment console, the most common and standard form of inter-electronic communication? Are you also implying that the USB support was for lazy people? I think not. But I guess I could give you an example. Do you know how big the first DLC for Burnout Paradise was? 1.6 gigabytes. Do you know how long it takes to download 1.6 gigabytes on a 50k DSL connection? Lazy has nothing to do with it and I'm pretty sure that Sony wasn't running under that misguided assumption when they decided to add support.

Furthermore, are you suggesting that the USB interface is where Sony faulted in their system's security? Did you not read about their blunder involving an incorrect implementation of a certain encryption process? That was their fault.

I think he was being sarcastic. I hope so, at least.

Kind of the reason I asked for clarification. It was soooooo ridiculously terribly terribly typed and inherently flawed that I could not tell if he was a troll or an idiot.
