As I mentioned before, my internet explorer has a tendancy to ACTIVATE (NOT open, ACTIVATE, as in it appears in my task manager without me doing ANYTHING at all.)

I was wondering if this would cause it.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Buffer overrun detected!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

Could this explain my IExplorer's overoccurance (and possibly why It takes FOREVER for some webpages to load for me on Firefox or IE)
Could be malware.
explorer.exe is not Internet Explorer, it's actually Window's file viewer. You know how when you click a folder, it opens? Yea, that's explorer.exe. It also controls the Taskbar and desktop.

That's not to say it can't cause problems, but as PirateHead said, I would look for spy/malware and the like.
