Who plays Nexon's Mabinogi?

I've always had a VERY hard time finding MMORPGs I enjoyed enough to play more than 5 minutes. Everything always felt the same and wasn't appealing. Mabinogi was the second MMORPG I fell in love with long ago. I never got into it really, but I just liked the way the game felt. It was unique.

Anyways, I was just curious if anyone currently plays or has played, what server and their overall experience with the game.
I like the style of the graphics, but sadly I don't have time to play :(

Awh, yeah I feel the same way about with most games. I have an addiction to Ragnarok Online that has eaten up a lot of my past. Trying to pull away from that to play Mabinogi since I am more comfortable playing casually there. And it's one of the only other games I actually enjoy.

favorite mmos: tera and neverwinter

really dont like mmos though

Tera was fun for the short period that I played. I actually want to upgrade my PC and go back running on high settings.

Never gave neverwinter a go~ I probably should eventually.

Do you have a preference?
I used to play Mabinogi last year, but I didn't get too far. I think I was in the middle of the G2 storyline quest before quitting. The game was fun, especially the dungeons, but I'm not a fan of MMOs; especially if I'm soloing.

The only other MMO I really invested time into was Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, but I haven't played that in four months.
Besides runescape when I was a wee lad, The MMO I had the most fun on was probably Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine.
Rift. They have what's called "Instant Adventure" where it just tosses you into a random group of like 20 other people, and you do back to back quests in a particular area, without having to fetch and return crap to NPCs. And instead of you having to kill 30, your entire group of 20 has to kill 30, so that particular quest gets done very quickly since you're not the only one contributing to that kill counter.

That idea was a step in the right direction to reducing some of the monotony of leveling up in MMORPGs. I just wish developers would do away with the loot system WoW had. It makes zero sense for a mage to be able to need on chainmail armor and take it from a warrior. Why is a mage able to need on chainmail in the first place? Why can't need rolls be limited to items your character can actually use? And why do we have to roll to get loot? Why can't loot drop, and EVERYONE earns something relevant to their class? It just seems like a bunch of arbitrary nonsense that doesn't need to exist in MMORPGs.

It's solely why I quit playing MMORPGs. I don't have time to sit in a dungeon for 30 minutes, just to have some freaking Archer roll need on a 2-handed Greatsword when the only things he can equip are freaking bows and daggers. Now I have to sit through the same dungeon for another 30 minutes, hope that the greatsword I need spawns again, ( because the drop rate is probably something stupid like 20% ) and hope that no one stupid needs on it. Such fun, very wow.
I've dedicated 6 years to WoW, I just can't bring myself to play any other MMORPG.
I'm just ignoring all MMORPGs currently out now and waiting for the upcoming games to release.

Tree of Savior for example. Never played the original RO but people said it was good and that ToS is going to be the "true successor" so I'll be trying that out ( assuming it's going to be f2p ). Also Blade & Soul looks pretty cool as well. I think Maplestory 2 could've had potential but by the looks of it they screwed up royally. My guess is that Maplestory 2 is going to end up like RO2. It'll release, get 0 players, and then someone from Wizet is going to have to leave, start their own company and make a sequel that's actually worth playing.
RO is the most amazing MMO I have ever played.

I'm also looking forward to ArchAge.
