Anyone else watching this? It's a new "space western" on Fox, by Joss Whedon. Being that it's a scifi show debuting Friday nights on Fox, I give it about two and a half weeks before it's put on hiatus, followed by a broadcast of all remaining episodes at a different time every week and a permanent consignment to the dustbin of history... which is a shame since its production has put the future of BTVS in jeapardy.

But it looks interesting so far.

Agreed. Looks very interesting, but Fox put it in the slot o' death. The Friday 8 EST slot has been known for some of the best shows in Fox's history, and the subsequent cancellation of those shows after a season, or half a season.

John Doe was pretty cool too.

I've figured it out.

The girl who was experimented on in Firefly must have the cure to Earth's plague in B5 Crusade. The cancellation of Firefly will send the show into limbo where it will meet Crusade. The crew from Farscape will offer to take them through a wormhole to B5's Earth in exchange for the Firefly and Excaliber hauling the bits of Moya left over from the chainsaw.

Firefly's crew will settle on Earth, where they are regarded as heroes. Unfortunately, their war of independence is later corrupted when it is used as propaganda by war mongrels who try to succeed from the Alliance, make computerized clones of Alliance members, and end up getting bombed into the stone age.

Unable to return to the ravaged set of their own show, the crew from Farscape will leave Moya's remains along the Outer Rim in the hopes that the elder races will know how to properly treat an organic ship. They will then bash into the Great Machine and hot-wire its time travel capabilities so they can go to an Earth Kriton will recognize.

John Doe told me this theory works.
