Practicing Dithering

Wanted to practice Dithering and made this:

If I'm doing it wrong or should not be dithering at some spots, please do tell.

i was inspired by it to make an edit, i would go for a more controlled way of lightning and defining the face a bit more..

To be quite honest, it still resembles Pillow-Shading, only with some dithering attempt.
Combine Dithering with Shading, and it'll look great.
(Ex; Start off bare, get your shading done, then dither the shading.)
