So Epic Shinobi is quickly losing all of its original concept inspired by the rips of the time. Not sure if I matured or I just lost interest. It was originally going to be an epic throwdown where you align yourself with random villages and you just go out to raid other villages because your village is better because you chose it and not the other one. But now, it's changing. I was at work today and I was obviously thinking way too far ahead again, but I was thinking about village income. See, I wanted you to be able to upgrade your village. Get better equipment in the shops, get better items in the shops, food that boosts your stats more, etc. When I was thinking about missions. Anyone who has played the old WOTS rips will tell you that they weren't very fun. Either boring "pick up weeds" or "we'll teleport you to this area, please kill Itachi". I wasn't going to do that. My plan right now is a series of minigames including things like:

Plow land: Rearrange land so all of the rows line up
Entertain Old Folks: Play something like that pebble game where you can only pick up 1-3 pebbles and the person that picks up the last pebble loses
Infiltration: Go through a maze, find a hidden scroll, bring it home.
- OPTIONAL ADDITION/SEPARATE MISSION: Decipher the scroll, because come on, it'd be fun!
In fact, I planned out 3-4 "decipher" missions which were just math games

I guess that's the main bit, here are some side notes:

Samurai are looking OP right now, probably because I'm testing 1v1 and that's kinda where Samurai shine.
Update play day is getting moved to Sunday for the semester because I keep the computer at home all day that day.
Epic Shinobi needs a new name. It's morphing into this PvE game where you build a community rather than the PvP game I had planned. I was thinking of calling it "The Village" but that seemed boring. If you want to suggest a name, leave a comment. If I like it, I steal it, like all cats.
Lol your game sounds alot like Dariucs game Kage No Odori just more Narutoish.

Like def the part about upgrading your village and etc.
I actually played that once, but I found it rather droll. Maybe because it couldn't wow me. It seemed like a PvP game, and it had a lot of cool concept. I want my game to focus more on establishing a sense of identity through the villages though. When you say you're from X village, you're proud like the X villager you are.
