Pretty much that. I would have dumbed it down though so it could be used by the lesser experienced codes. Not exactly map generation, more like object creation. The intention would have been for it to be used with the Move() proc.
A lot of people use this +x,+y,+z thing to make a pattern appear. My library would sort of "pre-code" that for you, so you can call 1 proc instead of 7. It operates on the same principle as fractals, but to be used, someone would have to modify their code so that the args are put in with some attack or somewhat rather than ask the person what the rule of the fractal should be.
