I have a map element in two different windows. I have one map disabled, but the two still conflict making me unable to see the map on the large map. Is it possible to have map elements in different windows and still see the map in both?

As far as I know, only the default map ever functions as the normal game screen. All other map controls can only be used as "secondary HUDs", which are just containers of screen objects. I don't think the "default" map control can be changed at runtime.
I can deal with that. Thanks.
Would you happen to know of a way to make a map control take priority as the default map control?
Check "default" when editing the map control in the interface editor?
If you put the default map control in a pane, you should be able to shift it around the interface by putting it in different child controls.
