Make world.Export() connections visible in Feature Requests

world.Export() calls are now visible in Dream Daemon, showing the IP address of the sender. These appear in the Players tab. Any individual connection can now be banned for the session or permanently.

This issue has been resolved.
world.Export() connections should be visible in Dream Daemon, so they can be banned if necessary.

Totally toobuler, but, how can this also help people hosting on a unix shell server ? I know you can Daemon ban on a shell with the hostban file, but, is there a command you can run to show all the connections of DD?

It's a bit silly when Lummox makes a feature request, only to implement it himself and then mark his post as 'resolved' ;)

Fair enough. We have version notes for general documentation--but I just remembered a recent event, which justifies why this feature was publicly documented.

Yeah, but in that recent event; I think they were hosting on a Unix server, a 'shell server', so. I don't know much about the commands you can run in PuTTY for Daemon. That's why I wanna know how this would work for that.

Do you have any data on how many games are hosted by command line and how many are hosted with the Windows GUI?

I hope you know that in the last few months like 99% of the games made are being hosted on a shell server and the currently made games are switching to a unix shell server.

Nobody uses Dream Daemon anymore.

Dream Daemon is on 'unix shell servers'.

I'd bet 99.9% of BYOND game servers are still hosted through windows. And of the ones that are hosted on Linux; I'd bet they'd rather be on windows, but just don't have the option.
