Transfer rate in Off Topic

Is there a way of preventing the Transfer rate from dropping? -_-

I'm downloading Thang Online which is 145 MB, the Transfer rate is really low then when I'm trying to download Ragnarok (Couple of weeks ago) it had an average Transfer rate of around 60 KB per second.

It depends on the upload speed of the server you're downloading from.

Not really. If there are alternate mirrors or a BitTorrent torrent to download from then those might be faster options (not always though, it depends); otherwise you just have to sit it out. They don't call it the World Wide Wait for nuthin'. =)

Oh well, I'll download it another time =) (Stupid thing stopped downloading... unless I think xD).

Well, I managed to download it. The thing that annoys me is that it took 4 hours just to download Thang Online (145 MB), the damn transfer rate was at aroun 10.00 KB per second.
