Cow Rp is a relatively old roleplaying game with Cows as its Mob. Its an interesting game, set in the early miedival days between 1350 and 1480, you will be forced to build your own home, find your own food, and survive whilst enduring through the RP experience as one of the roles given to you.







Gameplay: There are three modes: Peasants, Kingdom, and Kingdoms. In Peasants, you start out as either a Woodcrafter, Gatherer, Hunter, Fisherman, or a Farmer. You are spawned in the middle of a large island, and are forced to build around the center to create a small village/town with the other people. In Kingdoms, there are more roles such as the King, Mage, Priest, etc. and there are pre-mapped area's like the Castle, Church, and others. Plus, there are other islands that you can travel to. But basically, you must obey the King of your kingdom (Bovinia) unless you are a role that is against him or the King himself. Kingdoms is the same way just with another Kingdom, Cowmulot, and more pre-mapped locations/islands.








Originality: This game provides custom turf/objects and an orginal mob. Even though the game has been ripped before by various games like Cowed, CowRP itself is a very creative and seemingly original game. Everything from the storyline of Bovinia and Excowlibur to the various roles that are used are either built off historical events/things or inspiried by real-world people. The roleplaying experience is very realistic, because you must be the role you choose. I.E: You are a fisherman. You find a lake to catch fish. Cook them correctly on some fire. Possibly build a shop. Possibly pay a tax. etc.








Administration: The Admins in-game are actually very kind yet strict. They have no tolerance for various forms of rule breaking, especially if done many times over. There are about 5 - 12 currently enlisted. Bo and Smash are developers (Or Smash used to be) and also have some dominance in the forum, giving trusted members/admins some powers to moderate over certain threads. http://z15.invisionfree.com/Cow_RP/index.php?act=idx








Flaws: There are very few bugs/glitches in the game. Being old has its benefits, since most flaws have been fixed or are in the process of being fixed. The game is pretty spotless. The only time I found a flaw is when I accidentally lost my density and was able to travel the start screen at my own whim. But of course, that one was patched the very next minute. =P








Overall: I give the game a 9/10 for its original graphics, style of roleplaying, and fun places to explore. Since Bovine-Buddy returned, I hope to see more updates and more things added to it. Join it now!

I've played it once. I never could get into it. I don't really get into RP games much. Then again, the players seemed nice and focused on their roles.

The only reason why you said "One of the best roleplaying games on BYOND~" is because there are no good ones.

Well, it is pretty old, and I crapped up the screenshots so that you can't see the icons in their full loving view.

China, roleplayers don't care about graphics. Go back to your shooters and interactive movies.

There are no roleplayers in Cow RP.

Furthermore, I should know better than anybody that the graphics in that game are shit.

Criticizing a BYOND game for graphics is kind of sad. I know they aren't the greatest, but as long as they aren't stick figures, the gameplay is far more important.

I don't understand how anybody can play Cow RP and say "this game's graphics are sheeeeet!".

1: Most roleplaying games on BYOND have literally no graphics whatsoever. I.E. Morningstar Inn.

2: The graphics aren't supposed to be serious. They're supposed to be fun looking. It's like playing Blue's Clues and yelling, "THAT DOG IS SO FAKE. SINCE WHEN ARE DOGS SUPPOSED TO BE BLUE?".

Exactly. In RPG's, it isn't the graphics that count. Its the roleplaying experience and the enviroment that you are put into. Storyline is very important as well :c

Well, since thats squeezed, its just something nice to look at.
