Pixel Artist Needed [edit]

The project is called SSS and will basically be an android based version of Super Stick Skirmish of Super Scrappers.

What I'll currently need is the following:

stick fighter icons along with 5 moves, the reactions to getting hit by them, and a win/lose state in the left & right direction (similar to how it works in the original game above, I highly suggest trying it to get a better feel of what's needed)
application icon that will appear on screen (needs a 512x512 version with 32-bit alpha transparency as well as a 96x96 version)

As for the art direction of these assets, I want them to be stick figures but yet "high quality" stick figures; better than what any average joe could draw yet visually appealing (Less of this and more of this. The icon should have one of these stick figures doing something like one of the fighting moves above in the picture, just something creative/unique, or just a rehash of the old game's banner without the name plastered across it.

Compensation:
Compensation will start at $10 (through paypal) for the above work if it can be done within 5 days and I choose to use your artwork. Further compensation could be given later on down the line also since I would prefer to have the same person continue doing ALL of my game's graphics rather than some but the details of that can be worked out later.

Well looks like I only have about a week and 2 hours worth of membership left but I'll be back soon. Unlike in previous years, I can actually renew it easily heh. Admittedly, I didn't quite use it to the full extent but as usual life gets in the way and etc. But yeah, be back soon folks so that I may lurk the site yet again..

I'm slowly but surely building up my pc game collection (damn you steam!), so I'm looking into a controller for my pc (one I can easily plug and play, unlike with my ps3 controller). I considered the wired 360 controller but I'm not so sure I wanna pay $30+ for a controller alone. Any suggestions fellow byonders?

Like the summary says I'm looking for some that may be interesting to play. As for why I'm asking, I'm doing an internship in which I've been given the opportunity to put Byond games on kiosks that the general public will have access to. Seeing as I haven't made any games that are solely click-based (yet), I thought I'd ask first. :D

As the summary stated, I've decided to finally make myself available to program on some project(s). Basically, I need a bit more experience under my belt and I'm tryin to get back into Byond a bit. Admittedly, I won't be able to dedicate my full time to a project since I'm in college and whatnot but I'm willing to contribute something at least. Preferably no fangames; I believe that statement speaks for itself..As for my competence, you can check out my projects on the sidebar and know that I'm wrapping up my junior year of college, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science...So yeah, give me something to do folks, thanks for reading..

I finally got around to building my own pc, mostly with the intent of gaming on it but also as a backup to my laptop... If something ever happened to it, I'd pretty much be stuck with a desktop having only 512mb ddr...It didn't hurt that this could replace that 360 I always intended on getting either since I already have a ps3 an wii...But here's some the specs if you're interested (am I doing this right? XD):

AMD Phenom x4 9850 2.5ghz
1 TB HD
4 GB DDR2
Radeon HD 4350
Wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse

But wow, I'm surprised at how cheap the games are..It's just...amazing...Funny enough though, my graphics card was a bit better than I thought. With 64bit XP Pro for instance, Kane and Lynch stuttered just by making a slight gesture to the left, meanwhile it runs damn near flawlessly on 64bit Windows 7 Pro on my 32in 720p television...I intend on upgrading to a Geforce GTX 460 soon but for now, this will do; apparently the radeon hypermemory feature bumps my card memory up to 2.2 gigs according to Can You Run It..0_0 Anyways though, you pc game buffs got any recommendations on some nice free/cheap games I could check out? I'm pretty much jaw agape at "up to date" games costing only a penny on Amazon while the console equivalent is >$15..
