Hey all, just saying that it is my 18th birthday today!

Anyway, I know none of you care so :P I just thought I would post it.

Damn my life has gone fast :S Seems like I was only 10 yesterday hahaha.

Has anyone ever noticed this besides me, but, each year that pass' from your birthday they seem to get faster and faster...

So, back to the point. I am getting old!!!!

I've noticed this countless times, the trick to enjoying life more is to not take anything for granted.

Have respect for your own freedoms, but have equal respect to the freedoms of others (alot of people have no concept of this and care only for and about themselves)

You're 18.. and are now legally an adult.. although you cannot yet drink and smoke in certain areas of the world, you can now sign legally binding agreements, vote - (always vote), and gamble.

At age 16 you should have went for your drivers license, even if you dont intend to drive. A drivers license is one of the most accepted legal photo identification.

And if you're going to gamble always budget the money you have and never go over that amount (even if you win)
so lets say you have set a 2,000 dollar gambling budget. if you win 5,000 dollars upon that.. and dont win anymore.. you would play until you have 3,000.

You would be surprised to know how many people have nearly ruined themselves with gambling debts. so its best to draw an unbending line.. even if your chances of winning are 100%.

Get into a habit of getting a lottery ticket every week. i do lottery 649 with encore. I always choose quick-pick because I have no lucky numbers, but you might be more comfortable with sticking to your own numbers.

Either way, happy birthday and welcome to true adult-hood. the world will now expect much more from you

Sure, but that same 104 dollars played once a year on number 18 at the roulette will get you much much better odds at getting rich over the years.

Yea Sky, that is true, but believe it or not, I won $500 bucks with one of those scratch off game cards.

What is the connection between Science and Religion

I'll give you a hint . "there is one, if not more"

If you cannot answer this question to the satisfaction of both, religious people, and scientific people, you are not half as intelligent as you claim to be, therefore have no right or social standing over or above me to be able to rightfully say that my Soul Absorption is non-existant.

I will give you all 24 hours to answer this.. and then I will answer it.

*Added* I know this sounds angry but it really isnt, im serious.. if you cant answer that basic question you dont know enough about the subject.

Aren't you the one who started talking about something you don't know about? Then throwing questions saying that if a person cannot answer it then they know nothing on that certain subject, which can't be proven since you yourself probably know to little about it as well.

The best answer is that they both attempt to explain observable phenomenon and unravel the inner workings of the universe. Another possibility is that both scientific accomplishment and religious movements can be motivated either by a desire to gain personal power or to find a better state of existence.

I'm sure your answer will focus on the more marginal assertion that both rely on blind faith in unprovable postulates.

wow. you are right you hit the nail on the nose, my personal view on the connection between science and religion are simply this.

They are both created by man to better explain everything. Almost like a different language or a new word trying to describe something yet unknown.

But just because they are man-made, doesnt mean they are any less true. think about it, mathematics today is a language in itself humans created it, but they were inspired to make it, to better interpret the world around them. just because it was man-made doesnt mean its any less true.

Same goes to religion, something is inspiring people to write philosophies. Unfortunately, with religion, and unlike math. there is no physical evidence to prove that anything philosophical is real. But at the same time there isnt enough to state beyond a doubt that these things dont happen.. and that is why you cant rightfully say i dont have these abilities. I dont see why anyone would be jealous over, or even care whether or not someone has powers like this. I cant talk to these souls, I dont hear voices in my mind. I'm not giving people false hope like that t.v. psychic is. Rag on him.

But dont rag on me.
