Apparently Steam is having a "holy crap" sale again where there's just a massive amount of games on sale. The best part is that they always do this when I have no money to spend on games. They should have waited 2 weeks when I'll have lots of money to spare.

Anyways, just hit the front page and you'll notice them all over.

Killing Floor - $5 (Fun, Highly recommended, I don't own it)
Bioshock 2 - $15 (I own the first one(thanks Kyle), it's good)
Trine - $4 (I own this, it's fun)
Overlord(complete) - $4.50 (I own the original, I haven't played it all the way through, but it's pretty amusing)

Most notably though, something that is a MUST GRAB if you have the money right now, is the Valve Complete Package, this includes Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, All of the Half Life games, Team Fortress 2, Portal... Everything!

If you look in this list also, It's 75% off the complete 2K Complete Pack, knocking it down to $90, however I don't know most of those games and probably wouldn't play them. However, Borderlands, and the DLC, as well as Bioshock 1 and 2 are in that list, and they all seem to be on sale individually. Borderlands was a LOT of fun.

If you want a laugh, check out the Square Enix / Eidos sale too. All of the games in the list are Eidos, which makes me laugh because the Square Enix logo is more noticable to me than the Eidos one.

Anyways, if you didn't know about the sale, and I helped you find it, I hope you have fun and enjoy.
Steam is great. Mass Effect was on sale last week for $5, and the sequel was $20 or $30.

My summer gaming time is already spoken for, however. Starcraft 2 is amazing.
I've been without my desktop for quite a while since I'm working in another city, and my laptop isn't that great for gaming, so I haven't really been on Steam. Otherwise I probably would have pointed that out too. Though I'm not a big fan of Mass Effect.

My brother isn't either, and I don't understand you people. I actually have a hard time even calling you 'people'.
I'm just not a fan of all the talking. If I wanted talking, I'd play an RPG. I just can't get into it as a shooter with all that talking. That and having to make decisions constantly during the dialog. It's like reading a book when I want to play a game.

I'd much rather just play an RPG, or read a book. Or, go play a shooter that centers around the actual shooting.
It's kinda funny how all these people on Yotube are always looking for Steam cracks. Games are on sale all the time on Steam. ^.^
Wasn't Mass Effect an RPG? Or is your sarcasm just lost on me? :p
Oh wow, you weren't kidding. It's gonna take a while to dig through all these sales D:

I.. I don't even know where to start. And there's going to be more tomorrow?!

If you could get one game for free, what would it be?

Yeah it's an RPG. He was either being sarcastic or doesn't think it fits the RPG mold.

My brother didn't like the dialogue-heavy portions of the game either, but those are actually a big part of the draw for me. To each his own!

When it comes to Steam, anyone who hasn't bought Portal yet ought to do so immediately.

Apart from that, one of the best games I found through Steam was 'The Witcher'.
The dialogue portions were part of the main appeal for me too (as with most Bioware games).

If they missed when Portal was free, they don't deserve to play the game.
I understand that Mass Effect is considered an RPG, but I'm talking more about traditional RPGs.

See, Borderlands was an RPG too, and I really enjoyed that. But that game didn't have a Mass amount of dialog.
i enjoyed all the dialog in other bioware games (kotor, jade empire- delicious), but ME's just felt too generic-space-RPG at every single turn. the dialog, the characters, the plot... all too contrived
I actually disliked Jade Empire. I thought that it was really poorly written and that the environments were really bland. Probably the only Bioware game I've played that I didn't enjoy!
Oh my god.. I have spare money in my account.. Steam sale.. Must resist... Saving money...

You're insane, Jade Empire was a pretty good game, but it did get boring after about 3/4 way through.

I seen you saying you liked Mass Effect, I loved it. I'm currently on ME2, it's better than the first so far.
The complete Valve package is tempting. OOOOH so verrryyy tempting.
I saw that sale earlier! Im so damn stingy with using money for myself... But my mind keeps flipping back and forth on whether or not I should go on a spree >.>
I bought the Rockstar pack a month back when it was on sale. I might buy some packs because the amount games I could get is awesome, but I can't decide. At the very least I'm going to snag the Borderlands DLC and I might get the whole pack so I can get another copy of Borderlands to gift out.
