I began working on the battle system, more specifically on the layout. What I was looking for was a system where the monsters would appear from the center of the screen, rather than with predisposed positions (as in most, if not all DQ games I saw).

I'm satisfied with the results thus far, even though I haven't completed the monster namelist yet.

This is my main key... but nope, this isn't my first. And I'd rather leave that other key behind, if you don't mind.
Oh, I thought it was quite amazing to do all this with 6 months of BYOND language.

Well, object-oriented programming is basically the same from one language to the other, as far as programming structures are concerned.

If you have decent programming experience, all you need to do is learn the language, and have fun screwing around here and there.
