If you're using topdown_view, and use turfs with big icons on the map. Will it still be that density only applies to the southwest tile?

Because before big icons, the big icons were still split up for turfs, and density applied for ALL TILES

anybody know if this is still the case now?

EDIT: Tested it ingame, yep it's still mapped to the first southwest tile. Dammn.

Before the addition of the big native icons feature, when you laid down an atom whose icon was set to a large image file, the map editor automatically split that large image into multiple atoms for you and laid them all down together, making up the large graphic on the map. As the result was many objects, each one occupied its spot on its own right and was solid (provided density=1).
Now, however, the behavior would've changed, since it's now an atom can have a large icon natively, so when you lay down a large atom, it just lays one atom with that big visual-only graphic.
There IS a loss here, especially for turfs, where the old feature was especially useful. It would be nice if we could get an option to use the old atom-splitting behavior when we wanted.
If you don't want to set your map_format to TILED_ICON_MAP you could easily just use an invisible dense object where your big image would otherwise be dense.
