As anyone who plays religiously may have noticed, the primary shell server is down for the time being.

The shell had originally been put in place when we were using a service called SliceHost, and everything was hunky dory until RackSpace bought them and mandated a transfer of all SliceHost data to their servers a couple of months ago. This is when all the problems started.

For some reason, almost immediately following the transition to RackSpace we basically were on the receiving end of an email DDoS. Hundreds of thousands of spam emails sucked up all of the available space on the server until there wasn't a single byte left to do anything. Why this happened following the transition I have no idea, I'm not up to speed on the internals of the server (Tibby and I have minions for that).

We're in the process of setting up shop on a new hosting service with two separate units, though when this will be available I am not certain.
