Thanks for telling me I have ADD, Mom!
Yeah... I found out yesterday that the doctor diagnosed me with ADD, and possible ADHD 12 years ago. She never put me on meds, and never told me of this, hoping it'd go away. Well, it didn't. Hell, I probably still wouldn't know that I have ADD if it wasn't for me saying that I think I have it. Yep... Thanks for telling me that I have ADD, Mom. It makes me feel very loved, and I really enjoy having a mental problem of mine being kept from me.

ADD is a made up disease that's treated with made up drugs that end up making you dependant on them forever. Once you start taking them you can't just "go off" of it because you go fucking bonkers (the drugs are designed to block certain endorphines, and once you stop taking them your brain's all "WHOA WTF DUDE WHAT ARE THESE THINGS?!").
My older brother has a child that his girlfriend's grandparents are taking care of, and they've got him on some ADHD medicine because he's "rowdy and rarely pays attention". Well, duh! HE'S SEVEN.
The entire field of medicine is a crock anyways. Nothing they produce is meant to cure anything, it's only meant to *treat* it. They don't want you getting all well and better because they'd lose billions of dollars and the entire pharmaceutical industry would go under; they want you to keep purchasing treatments and drugs for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.
Case in point: ADD/ADHD is made up, and the pharmaceutical industry's only goal is to be rich.
