Hey guys my membership is going to expire soon, so I decided to make one last post. It's really not something for me to threat about though as I don't use the blogs too often, if not just to showcase a project or two.

But hell while I'm posting here are two new videos of the SHMUP I was working on:

Block Boss:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/ genius_boy001/?action=view&current=Demo3.mp4

Perfect_Goku Boss:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/ genius_boy001/?action=view&current=Demo4.mp4

Hey, so I have been dabbling with Shmups, DM and icon_size lately and decided to make one. The game involves one icon that is 1x1 pixel which enables true pixel movement and everything is code generated including the map.

I've included a Video of what I have so far:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/ genius_boy001/?action=view&current=Demo3.mp4
If you have any ideas for enemies please post.

Basically I've noticed that the moderation on Blog posts have been mostly up to the moderators without much user input in regards to why the post was inappropriate. Due to recent activity I find this calls into question whether the moderation is fair or efficient enough. So I have devised an alternative.

Alternative:

The alternative is the simple idea of a "report" button under each blog post instead of the yay/nay system. This report button will then open a module box in which the reason for reporting will be stated. The blog's ID and the reason will then be stored in a database or sorts, I'm assuming Mysql. Reports without a reason will be automatically deemed invalid and discarded. The data in the database will then be parsed into a moderator control panel with PHP.This is where the moderator decides whether or not to "accept or deny" the complaint. When accept is clicked the blog post is flagged and hidden, when deny is clicked the complaint is ignored. Users submitting severely false claims will have their reporting privileges taken away.

This creates a more efficient moderation as complaints are now organized and the bad/malicious blog posts get called to attention. It is also more fair as users now have more input to what's deemed appropriate for BYOND.

UPDATE: Fixed Errors

Please post any feedback/questions/suggestions here.

This very small demo allows the user to reverse actions done while logged it. This a small demo showing some of the possibilities time reversal can be used for in Byond games.

I will possibly release the source in a later version after I clean up the programing and add more features.

The demo also supports multiplayer.

Verbs:

Reverse():
Reverses the User's actions by a specified number.

Reverse_Limit():
Prompts the user to specify how many ticks the user can go back while reversing.

Time_Clone():
Creates a sort of a "time clone" that mimics the user's moves by a specified number of ticks.

Time_Clone_Limit():
Prompts the user to specify how many ticks the "time clone" will follow.

Hi, I've been photo-shopping for a couple of months now, mostly for cracked.com contests. And I think I'm getting pretty decent at it. Here are a few, what do you guys think?

Kanye West Craze:

Pokemon Spoof (You think a wild pokemon would actually just sit there?):

Simple Recolor:

One of my fave:
My first non-GBchat post haha.

Synopsis: Fly is a simple game where turtles fly via rapid spinning in a steampunk/old time cinema setting.

Goal: The Goal of the game is to score points by hitting the front of mechanical blimp and dodge the lasers in order to not die(Note death in this game is not really death it is just makes the game harder to play as you are now constantly falling like a turtle on it's back). To win the game the user must reach the games goal score.

Controls: Use the arrows keys to maneuver your turtle towards the blimps and dodge the lasers.
To start the game go to commands and press start.
If you haven't read before GBchat is a social networking site I created that is the first ever to have 99% of it's functions AJAX driven. It also has a php back-end and I have been working on it for a year and a half. I am finally going into closed beta testing Monday and I need atleast 5 Byonders to test it.

Anyone can join.

Only requirement is a PC that isn't 8 years old.

This closed Beta test will require applicants to fill out a question sheet after a week of testing.

The site is still NOT finished, I still need to finish:

The friend menu.
Picture Albums
Games
More Polish

But the beta test will still run anyway in order to see how people react to the site.

Just express your interest by posting here.

GBchat is a social networking site I am currently making. It has a php backend, and 99% of the features are powered client-side by AJAX/Javascript.

Right now I'm 96% done the beta. As of next week I shall start closed beta testing and also will post screens and elaborate more on the features.
