The server seems to be down.
This is something on my provider's end.
I've contacted their support, and hopefully the problem will be fixed shortly.

So, my Pokémon Online World server is still up.
For some reason, it is not showing up on the hub. It has something to do with the new version of BYOND.

However, you can still access it from the following link:
byond://72.13.95.108:10000

I'll try to get it to show back up on the hub. I probably just need to update it with the latest version of BYOND.
The problem is, I started an update that I never finished, a while ago. (I can't release it until that update is complete.)

Until then, Ciao.

Okay, so in the latest version there's this new feature:

A new atom var, override, can be applied to images to make them appear in place of the atom's normal icon and overlays. This can be used to give a custom appearance for any atom to only certain players.

From this page: http://www.byond.com/docs/notes/482.html

But, that's either poorly worded or just wrong.
The way the override var actually works, is essentially as a boolean, when true, it replaces (as mentioned) the icon of the image's loc var. (So, you still have to set the image's loc for it to work, and it uses that loc as the atom it replaces.)

I didn't post this as a bug report, because it doesn't seem like a bug, per se.

Just thought I should point this out.
I don't know if Lummox JR will see this post anytime soon, though.

Indeed!
Today is my birthday!
As celebration, if you play my Pokémon game, say the words "happy birthday" in World Say to get some special unlocks. (This will only work for this single day, so get it while you can.)

Okay, after a lot of Linux failure, I've gotten the server running.
(Sorry for the delay.)

There aren't any new updates.
The save files have all been lost.
I'm very sorry, but there's nothing I can do.

I don't know if I'll ever update, but we'll see.
Definitely not soon, I'm approaching finals week.
Almost done with the school year, and then I'll have a Summer job, so we'll see what happens.

Good day.

P.S.
So, ATP Host decided to shutdown without notice.
No explanation, they're just gone.

As such, I didn't know that was happening, so, again, my server was shutdown and I lost all of the save files.

I wonder how many times this will keep happening.
It is quite a pain.

I think it's ridiculous. He could've at least emailed me to let me know they were going to shutdown and erase all of my data.

Thanks again, ATP Host.

...

Anyways, I'm of course not going to use any service they provide or anyone BYOND-specific.
After-all, I don't need something BYOND specific, I just need a server.

I have decided to try a VPS from prgmr.com.
I would probably already have a server up, but I messed up.
I'm new to this stuff. >.<<br/> They needed an RSA Public key for SSH, so I gave them that, but I didn't realize, at the time, that I also needed to save a private key to access the server.

So, I made some new keys and I emailed support requesting to change the public key on their end, so hopefully that gets changed and I can get to the server, soon.

Let's see how long that takes.

Update: Server Now Up

My server from ATP is giving me issues, again.
If it doesn't come back up for a while, I will still update again sometime this week.

Whether or not the game will be hosted is currently unknown to me.
Okay, so I have brought my newer Harvest Moon game out for testing.
It's in the very early stages, and at this point is more of a tech-demo.
(Currently being hosted 24/7.)
It's a pretty unique game, I think.
It's turning out well so far.
I think people who liked my last game will like this one too.
