Problem Description:

I got a new router like, a few months ago.
So I had to set up ports and stuff.
I did so like I did with my old router, I did it with a Static IP since.. it didn't seem to connect without it with my other router.
For some odd reason I can't get it to reach other players.

Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. Set up Static IP
2. Portforwarded port 5555
3. Disabled Windows Firewall.
4. Tried to host, failure.
5. Tried a different port, 1337.
6. Tried to host, fail.
7. Tried SEVERAL other different ports, 3345, 2048, 5489, etc. All failures.
8. Tried to host without the Static IP. Failure.

So yeah, I'm kinda stumped here. Help?
Did you make sure that your router has no firewall and that no other software that could prevent this from working is running?
I'm sorry to say, but there is not that much we can do for 'distant diagnose'.

Err.. well there was one detail I skipped over. I did do this before, and it worked fine. Not very sure what I did, but I didn't even know my router had a built-in firewall to begin with, and it still worked.

I did a little checkup with my Static IP. I only have one DNS Server that I can set it up with - while I had about 3 last time I checked. Not very sure if this is relevant or not, but I need a Primary and Alternate DNS Server for me to connect.

..Though now that I think of it I would only need the primary.

The information needed to set up a static IP also changes from time to time, so I guess I have a dynamic IP or something.

But if there is nothing you can do, oh well. Thanks anyway.
