Craftfolk is going great!
We've recently been celebrating a new addition to the team, JoshuaRay202! (or j-ray, as I like to call him)
He's been pumping out amazing pixel-art all the time, and it's really nice to simply give people a list of things to do and to know that what they give you when they're finished at the end of the working day is exactly what you're looking for. We're a perfect team and his pixel art is going to make this game beautiful.
I've been mostly having him work on replacing the majority of the things used from the free resource ToME, but I do think that the turfs are going to stay. (At least for now.)
What I've been doing lately is mostly with skills.
(Seriously, when has it not been skills since you've been posting this weekly update thing?)
Oh ho, but I have you there devil's advocate of a subconscious! Allow me to demonstrate with visuals!
Oh, the things we could smith!
Yes, I've been making things more organized and orderly and I've also gotten rid of useless skill-tab navigation when it's not needed. For example, to smelt you click on the desired ore and then on a nearby smelter, and the task begins! Double-click on an anvil with a hammer in hand and the smithing window opens. Drop raw meat onto a fire or stove and it begins to cook! Double-click on a carpentry-shop, loom, or any other workshop and the respective window opens! You see what I mean.
I've also been working on Skins, updated the inventory stacking system slightly, and made it so you can eat food! Including cake! (:
That's it for this Tuesday's update. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next week! (:
