MUD Map Creator

Interested in experimenting with a type of MUD room creation? Play around with a tool called MUSHRoom. This tool has a GUI interface instead of text based building to allow you to easily build a zone of rooms.

Credit goes to MUSHCode.com for this program.

MUSH is a MUD codebase, or a backbone available for programmers to shape their ideas into worlds. It's free like most Codebases.

Some of them are:

Circle MUD
Smaug
MUSH

I learned my building skills from The Builders Academy. A MUD dedicated to teach people to use the various commands of a builder, which is a position on the staff of most MUD's.

DOS Presents "Elementium"

Greetings Byond,

I am Oblivion Communications. You may have seen me around, you may not have. Anyway, I have decided to create a MUD.

If you do not know what a MUD is, please read this before continuing.

http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/aboutmud.htm

The name of the game is Elementium. It is based on a barren Earth, set about 20 million years after 2012. Human's over the past 90 years have started developing attachments to elements in the universe. The ability to spout fire, water, lightning. As well as controlling the earth, to pushing air, to using mental telekinesis to shatter bones and break objects. Each "Elementalist" as they're called by normal human's is an outcast in society, and can only wield one element. More than one is an instant fatality.

RegHuman's as the Elementalists call them, have formed ways of dealing with their outcast brothers and sister. They have invented machines to suck the elements from bodies, or overload them by using the elemental opposite of what that person wields. Elementalists are also taken to prison camps and tortured for their lives. Which is much longer than a normal human. The ability to wield an element has lengthened their lifespan to over 200 years. Because of this, at age 55, an Elemental wielding human, may look 19. Hunting parties, military and most general regular human's hate all Elementalists and are trying to eradicate them all.

Countries no longer exist, only territories of each state on North America, and on other continents, military power rules over all. Some countries accept Elementalists into their military to defend themselves. Not all human's hate these super-powered beings. Some accept them and wish to help.

Now for a short preview on what will be in the game at Release.

Elementalist Versions:

You come out of the womb, only able to generate small amounts of your element. You will be given a basic ability to throw small amounts of your element as an offensive ability, with no defensive. Opposites and available starting release elements will be listed below.

*The Element listed in brackets is the opposite of the one chosen, and can kill you quicker compared to others.

Fire [Water]
Earth [Water]
Water [Electricity]
Electricity [Earth]
Light [Earth]

Basic Skills for Elementalists would be according to each Element. When you start out, you can only use a specific basic offensive attack, and must rely on protective clothing or dodging skill to shield yourself from damage. Upon further skill, you can transport self as your element, shoot pillars of flame, travel as lightning, or light, cause fissures to form under your feet. The choice is yours.

Human Versions

Elemental Hunter: Makes a living using weapons designed to kill Elementalists or capture them and claim rewards.

Military: Uses much heavier weaponry than Hunter's and can assault with much more force, but tends to lack style.

A brief preview of weapon's would be,

Elemental Dart Carbine: Shoot's darts that are charged with the opposing element to the person you are killing.

Upon starting you will have to buy your different charged darts. But upon reaching a certain rank, a machine that will charge your own darts will become available to buy. Thus only needing to buy Uncharged Darts for mere pennies.

More information will be made available as I start developing the game.

College

College has kicked up and I haven't been around much. Partly because Ive chosen to enjoy Dragonball Z as a show instead of a fan, crazy about it so I play a game for countless hours. So...Im just checking up on things. And deciding whether or not to make a MUD....who knows I might. Anyway, yeah, so...bye.
