Sources to some stuff I will never finish
I'm known to never finish anything. I've lost most of my sources already, so here are some recent ones:
Contains:
-Dragon Warrior Chronicles (from like 2 years ago, it's really horrible. Basically running a really version of the QUEST Engine)
-Gravity Arena (aka Gravarg, has a bad text parser. Check out Jefferson Aero Plane for a better one)
-Jefferson Aero Plane (A chat I was working on and never finished. Has a better text parser than gravarg)
-keylib (My poor attempt at imitating Wiznet before having access)
-ohack (my poor attempt at map creation and a roguelike)
-QUEST Engine 4.0 (an easy to manipulate zelda like battle system with elements, spells, etc. It's being used in Khalamari's upcoming Dragon Warrior Adventure.)
-Slime Sliders (I really have no idea what this was going to be.)
-tuxQuest (Splattergnome inspired me to make something like this with his Minigame. It was going to be a full fldeged game.)
As you can see I had a thing for Dragon Warrior/Quest back then (even now! :p).
QUEST Engine is probably the most complete and flexible source code in there.
Well, here you go: http://members.byond.com/OlYeller/files/projects.rar
I really won't be able to use BYOND anymore since I am purchasing an iMac soon and using OS X so I guess that's the end of this. :p
I'll be spending my time that I was spending on BYOND learning Python so I can create cross platform applications/games that will hopefully be enjoyed by many people.
Some of these sources are really horrible and I do not recommend learning off of them. Seriously.
A thanks to the following people (I used their libraries, if I forgot somebody please say so!):
Abyss Dragon: SET and BasicMath
Theodis: PathFinding
Deadron: PathFinding
Lummox JR: Swapmaps
MobiusEvalon: Wiznet

#11 Ol' Yeller:
I don't know whether to think of that as a good thing or a bad thing!

Sounds like you're a pretty nice coder, just need some more determination and patience. I'm known to quit halfway and work on something else, too.
EDIT: On a side note, you're the first troll whose member page I ever visited! Boy, did you inspire me.

Oho, those are just some many upsides to a mac. :)
They're truly amazing with their speed too. Plus if you get an iMac you don't have to have a computer tower. You just have a screen which has a SuperDrive (CD/DVD burner), built in bluetooth, firewire, USB, etc. so you can easily have a wireless mouse.

Sorry to hear that Yeller, I have been thinking about going over to the Mac side too, but mostly because I like the way they look, the cheap price tags and the fact you don't have to worry about as many viruses on a Mac.
You know you could always just install a virtual machine on a Mac right? Most likely running BYOND just fine.

Btw back in my post about you phishing me. I thought you did because that was an old old password of mine before I knew anything about programming or computer safety and what-not. And you just guessed it dead-on. So yeah that was why. And ExGuo learned I am very gullible. :]

Try it out, it's highly customizable!
There's no documentation on how to make spells and stuff, so good luck. :p
[edit]You most likely will need the libraries listed to run QUEST.
