If anyone's stumped and needs a game idea, I have a perfect one. What if the "jak and daxter" world came to BYOND. The jak world is filled with colorful areas and eco. It'd be really original to BYOND and people are bound to try it. With the eco idea and that mixture of nature and future vehicles, weapons, and technology the game would be fascinating and amazing.

I'm not much of a programmer myself (more like a pixel artist) so I really can't bring this idea to life. It'd be really something if some talented programmer could help make this.

:)
Why not post some mockups of some art a programmer could use?
If you're looking for a programmer, nothing encourages them to join your cause like artwork and mockups! :)
A game of this nature wouldn't be overly complicated to create. For a single player version.. You would be looking at a lot of work but multiplayer byond games are best kept rather simple so as to not create a lot of lag. The way I see it, if you got yourself a decent coder or coders that had the same drive and someone willing to host it then you'd be guaranteed success if you kept it to a high standard and followed it through.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do in future.

I think that whole sentence was supposed to go something like this.

"A game of this nature wouldn't be overly complicated to create[ , ] For a single player version.. [ But ] You would be looking at a lot of work[ , ] [ if ] <s>but</s> multiplayer[ . ] Byond [multiplayer] games are best kept rather simple so as to not create a lot of lag."

To me it seems as though he was saying a single player version would be easy, but if you wanted to make a multiplayer one, not only would it be complicated, but it might also produce a lot of lag if it were not done correctly.

Flame Sage, I'm talking about stuff like pixel movement. Works great for single player, doesn't work great for multiplayer. It's just too complex.

Anyway, everything I said there was as I would say it Moussiffer. No need to re-word it..

Have you seen Forum_account's demos for pixel movement? My game, Doomed Dreams uses an older version of it, and it runs wonderfully online.
