Does anyone have/know where a tutorial on using Dream Daemon in Linux Servers is? Thanks for any help!

usage is pretty straight-forward. here's the run-down i give to new folks who use digitalBYOND hosting:
format (using one of Crispy's game as an example):
DreamDaemon /path/to/the/dmb-file/yourgame.dmb port-number -trusted -log logname &
so in Crispy's case:
DreamDaemon /home/crispy/planets/planets.dmb 6003 -trusted -log planets22.log &
hopefully most of that is self-explanatory - if not, let us know. the & at the end is required to let the game continue running as a background process after you log-out of the server. otherwise it will quit on you when you leave the server.
you should also make sure that if you use a router (you are sharing the internet connection amoung several computers in the building/house/apartment) that it is configured to 'forward' the port access you choose above to the machine doing the actual hosting. that way all the little packets of data can find their way home. :)
hope that helps. hollar if you have questions.
