Today is Friday here. School is now out. It is the weekend. I am happy. I like periods. Most all of my teachers are cool. I figure I'll get alittle education this year.

Now that that's out, I submitted Date Functions and Private Message to DM.Libaries. This is probably premature for both as they aren't really ready yet, but I wanted them to be in there for me to use in my 8K project. I'm sure someone else will eventually look for Private Message as I looked and couldn't find one in DM.Libaries, so I made one. And if anyone needs timezone specific dates or to figure mathematical operations on dates then they may wish to use Date Functions. I always look in DM.Libaries first for something or search the HUB.

On the subject of demos, I submitted SmartFiler and Text Gradients to DM.Demos for no apparent reason to myself. Maybe someone else can find it for me? Anyway I've had a few downloads of both and I've had people as me how to do the gradient scrolling in Text Gradients, so there, they can have it.

SmartFilter. Well, everyone needs a swear filter. I always wanted one that would seem smart to players as they laced their sentences with profanity. Currently it will remove unneeded punctuation temporarily while it scans for bad words to be replaced. Then it will put the punctuation back in, in jumbled places if the word replaced had a different length than the replacement word.

The next step for SmartFilter is to allow an associative list of symbols that may be used in place of another, such as $ for S. Then it can scan and see if the player may be trying to mask profanity that way. Also I will probably working on SmartFilter so that each swear can have a percentage or a number of letters. These letters of percentage will be used to figure out if a word is too close to a swear word. This way if someone says a word that has one letter different the filter could pick it up.
