Isn't EmpirezTeam just a random troll? I didn't know he was a developer..
I made an RTS and an action game by myself. Due to lack of interest by the community, I sort of got pissed off. People didn't bother to help test, were barely leaving comments on my page etc. so I just said screw it. I would've been more motivated to develop things if the community wasn't always indulged in some form of idiotic drama. Basically, I just stopped taking the website seriously so that's why I'm considered a troll now.
Things are starting to get better now however. Fan-games are getting cracked down on, we're starting to see more developers actually producing quality games. Who knows, I may just get back into DM.

Define quality games. Because I only see 1 maybe 2 "quality games"

That's because you don't quite understand what quality is. Your definition of "good" consisted of GOA and some Yugioh game that has next to no polish. As I told Falacy, the only reason these games have players is because the game is based on an anime series. Therefore, the games aren't good games. If your game is good, you should be able to take all the infringing content out and people would still play it. However, they don't, and they end up flocking to an even less detailed fan-game that is 9 times out of 10 a rip of a rip of a rip, because it's not about the gameplay - it's about finding a game based on their favorite anime series.

~Noooo. My definition of decent anime games consisted of GOA and some Yugioh game that has next to no polish. You are one of the developers that as I was telling Stephen, automatically look down on fangame developers.
Now, my definition of a quality "original" game with be along the lines of Decadence, Eternia(not that I played it but it looks nice),Ultimatum. I don't see these "quality games" popping up everywhere like you so claim.
