I'm deciding whether the windows OS I'm about to buy should be setup on virtual box or bootcamp. I like the idea of running 2 OS's at the same time and though I doubt BYOND graphics would put too much strain on my computer as to run really slowly I wanted to know if using VB would be a good choice.
Yep. Virtualbox is less of a hassle.
You shouldn't see any performance hit with a Windows 7 Machine running BYOND within Virtualbox.
Remember to install the DirectX plugin with the Virtualbox Guest Additions though, it will improve performance drastically.
I run parallels, I can play most MMO's without any lag on medium settings. Bootcamp has a lot of unsupported issues, and isn't instant like a virtual mahine is. It was a pain in the ass switching from mac to pc as you had to restart your physical machine.

If you have OSX Lion, you can switch between Mac and PC with a simple 3 finger swipe and if you have enough RAM both will run flawlessly side-by-side. Which is just too awesome.

Parallels also shares the same hard-drive as your main computer, so you don't even need to partition or worry about where you save things, because both can have access to each others files.

My two sense.
