Is it just me, or do "u","ur","r", and things similar bug other people as well? To me, it signifies lazyness, and immaturity. I can stand it most of the time, and other times I lash out at people that do it. That and captilizing each letter at the beginning of each word. That, I cannot stand. If someone does that, I don't even bother to read it.

I also hate this "practice" of many computer users. It irritates me so much to see someone try to communicate with me in this fashion.
"hi, r u there? i m here, wat about u? me 2" Gahh...So...annoying.... Honestly, they are truly lazy that they cannot waste one more unit of their energy to push a few more keys. Sheesh. However, they will use more energy to do something futile and even more idiotic. If someone on AIM or ICQ sends me a message, and I do not know them, and the message is similar to: "hi, who r u? asl plzthx" I usually ignore them quickly, and they don't come back. Ignorance is always the best policy. It's not going to kill them to press a few more keys, is it? </rant> | |
