Been a while
Sorry to not have posted for so long, been moving into my house and helping my bro move out. The game I've been thinking about is soon going to have a design document, seeing as I need one for my class in about two weeks. Other then that, not much news. I may work on some Byond when I have the time next week or later this week. Hopefully I'll be getting a job soon, now that I'm at a stable point.

I've laid out a lot more about my game and am trying to do an actual design document. I'm in a game design class so hopefully this will be good practice and once I'm finished I'll be able to do my game.
I hate procrastination...

Back
So, I'm, back. Did a little game design. I figured out this game would b a lot better if it were a round based game and not an RPG. So it will basically be a copy of WoW's battlegrounds, with a slight Final Fantasy twist.
I'm going to start soon... I only wish that I could get a good real time battle system, and not one where you just button smash a lot.

Update on info and situation
So, I'm going to have to somewhat redo the spell lists. I changed the design for the game so there shouldn't be a need for a billion spells like i had before. Also, I got the idea for the game down into a document! took me a couple hours and the lack of sleep, but i think its a pretty good idea. I'm not going to post if for fear of someone stealing my idea, but as a hint its going to be an RPG with a real time battle system.
As an update to my situation, and as an answer for why I'm posting so late in the week, I'm not going to be at my computer on Saturday, and last Saturday I was really depressed. Girlfriend left for California for a week. Anyway, I'll start designing a real time battle system for BYOND. I realize its going to be much harder then a turn based one but I think its going to be a lot better, but hopefully not a button smasher... Also, I should be in my own room by the time I post next.

Finished the spell lists
Classes now have spells. Dunno how their gonna work, but now i think I'm out of the character designing. I might work on the programming a bit this week, but it sounds like i might be finally moving back to my house...
