Riku, what is your Xbox Gamertag? I asked you on your page under the post entitled "Xbox 360 vs PS3, Which is better?", after you've made statements concerning your experience on the Xbox.

Though my requests seemed to have disappeared into thin air, as have my posting privileges.
Masterdan hasn't had any signifigant influence over BYONDanime in a long time. Infact, for quite some time he has been inactive (though actually just frequently visiting but not posting).

BYOND anime itself has been exchanging ideas and we're creating various alternatives for the guild itself. So towards your hilariously bias comment, I'd have to say you're wrong on multiple levels. Why would you even bring up Masterdan?

Oh and I've only made this post because you were stupid enough to make a post, ask for opinions, but only allow those in your pointless guild to post.

Not too long ago were screenshots of "Super" street fighter 4 leaked by developers accidentally through a screenshot.

It may or may not be an expansion. Odds are, it'll be like ODST; in which it'll be its own separate game. The only difference so far are the characters that may be in it.

There's been an inside source that's been revealing some of the roster.. and he's been considered a credible source so far. Only 2 of the characters have been actually seen, though.

Confirmed characters:

T-Hawk (Super street fighter II)

Juri (New character)

With deejay speculated, this would complete the original roster for Super Street fighter II.
--

With those characters, the informant also predicted a number of other characters from different street fighter series to be in the game as well.

From Street Fighter 2: Dee Jay and T. Hawk.
From Street Fighter 3: Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto.
From Street Fighter Alpha: Adon, Cody and Guy.

--

There's going to be a teaser site released soon. We'll see if these predictions fall into place.

It might be worth buying, If its not DLC.
If you are familiar with Dixons Megaman wars, you should be able to play this game with ease. This "version" of MMW has just as much staff abuse and debatebly hilarious gameplay (See; mario) to offer. Originally, I wasn't going to review this game but the owner insisted that I did.

Don't be suprised if you see similarities between this review and my previous one. Any changes I make will probably be in bold or italics; and various subtitles will be added to the screenshots for more depth.

--
Gameplay: Upon login, you are treated with a brief guide on how to play.

The controls are quite simple. Move with the numpad arrow keys, and use your characters moves with 1, 7, 9, and 3. Most of the time your character either has 1 or 2 moves, though.

From there you are treated with a selection of 3 characters. You can unlock more by defeating other people in-game, by raising your kill count.

This selection screen is noticably more horrid-looking than its original. That's saying alot.

There are other options such as team color, but nobody uses this. And of course there are rankings, but these are also pointless because 80% of the high rankings are from tools and thier unlegitimate kills.

--

Anyways, after selecting which of the 3 characters you would like to use, you are then sent to the spawn where you look for other megaman characters and try to defeat them.

As you can see, one of the major gameplay elements to defeating another player is to stand in front of an object (preferably a wall) and hit the "1" button on your numpad to redundantly fire projectiles. This clearly requires skill on a magnitude that I can't even comprehend using words, so I'll show you how intense things can get.

--

The games major balancing issue is the strength of various characters. During multiple occasions on trying to kill people, you will notice that most of the people playing select that characters who have the ability to kill you in like, 3 hits. Add that and the slippery controls and you have yourself a very difficult time trying to get a single kill.

I've tried rotating through the characters I was given from the start, but to my dismay do they suck.

--

Anyways, apart from extreme difficulty in trying to get a single kill, there is the staff.

Now, I'll be the one to say that the games staff is.. Extremely abusive. I suggest, if you play this game, either kiss up to them or try not using OOC at all. They will not hesitate to ban you; and the owner does not seem to care what they do.

A good example. I log into the game, and I'm instantly muted by the owner followed by "Nice to meet you."

Though, there is one part of the game that MMW veterans will certainly know.

Metalgrunt!

Yes, that's right. The same person who got staff for asking on MMW has it here, too! Though dont let his constant brown-nosing to the owner throw you off from your experience here. He will also use his custom character (A custom is a character that people can have if they donate money to the owner; "The overlord". The higher the donation is, the better the custom character is statistically. Who would have though!)

This is actually an interesting topic to poke at. Let me elaborate a bit more on this donation bit; rather, why dont I just post the entire form?

~Megaman Arenas Donation Faq~

-What are the Methods of Payment?-
The are a few the following are but must be discussed with me first.

2.Paypal

3.Mail as in you can mail me the specific item I desire or cash.

4.Currency on the following games.
Phantasy Star Universe (Xbox 360)
MapleStory Windia is the server I beleive.

5.Characters on the following games.

MapleStory Any server, Requirement must be level 40 or higher.
For this you would need all the information for all the security questions so
I will fully own the account.

6.Microsoft Points.

-Things you may receive-
With 15$ you get a custom character but everyone else can use it and also this character has one attack of your choice.

Also if you donate enough you will receive your character permanently avaiable to you only and no one else can ever use that character.

We will discuss these things in our chat via Private Message or MSN Messenger.

-Ways to contact me-
MSN: TheSexyOverlord@gmail.com
Or Private Message here.
Or on Byond.
Or Message here as I check this forum everyday use the format below.

-Payment Format-
Byond-Key: (Specify your Byond Key Name)
How much are you donating: (Amount)
Form of Payment?: (Specify which why you are paying)
What all are you wanting?: (Custom things not mentioned above you may add to this)

I have all the rights to change any of this information whenever I please, donations are final and are gifts to the server. No Refunds.

========

Its hilarious. Don't bother saying something about it on OOC; both him & the owner of the game will ignore you, and the sour community will yell at you. Its just one of the many traditions in this game.

Thats basically all there is to the gameplay. Killing people isnt even worth the effort; your character is either too weak or too strong.

The staff creates a whole different factor for the game, and this game includes possibly the worst staff I have ever seen. Unfortunately they do not do anything worth mentioning.

"Crap sucker", Latoma, Metalgrunt. It just sounds awesome.

2/10

--

Presentation: There arent any sound effects, or notable graphics to the game. The login screen looks like It was done in 2 minutes.

(Im sure the guy who did this was also given staff member.)

Though I will say that the lack of sound effects is a good thing. The massive attack spam this game induces would be too hard to tolerate.

3/10

--

Originality: The game offers a wide range of Megaman characters, puts them into an arena, and thier goal is to kill each other. Its a simplistic concept; though this game delivers it horribly. It's systems are quite linear, the gameplay is redundant and boring.

All of the characters play the same, the only difference is the number of damage that they inflict. This game has difficulty in balancing even that.

Oh and did I mention this game is basically Megaman wars.

0/10

--

Overall: This game is worse than Megaman wars. Yes, I just saved you all of the effort of saying it. The owner is 10x greedy than Dixon (Though Dixon is a good guy), and the gameplay is equally if not worse than MMW; from mirrored staff to generic and bland gameplay, this one isnt worth your time (Albeit a few good laughs.)

-Rugg

Oh, and I plan on doing more reviews in the future. But they will be dedicated to games that are worth playing.

Megamans wars by Dixon, a notorious game in the action guild known for it's incredibly balanced systems and pleasent staff.

Wait- what?

Unfortunately, this game doesnt offer any of these. But i'll explain why in this review.

--

Gameplay: Apon login, you are treated with a brief guide on how to play.

There are other options such as team color, but nobody uses this. And of course there are rankings, but these are also pointless because 80% of the high rankings are from staff members and thier unlegitimate kills.

--

Anyways, after selecting which of the 3 characters you would like to use, you are then sent to the spawn where you look for other megaman characters and try to defeat them.

You see the guy with the red circle around him? That would be me.

The games major balancing issue is the strength of various characters. During multiple occasions on trying to kill people, you will notice that most of the people playing select that characters who have the ability to kill you in like, 3 hits. Add that and the slippery controls and you have yourself a very difficult time trying to get a single kill.

I've tried rotating through the characters I was given from the start, but to my dismay do they all do the exact same thing.

I'm trying to get a simple kill, and one of the admins "Holydoomknight" is sitting at the bottom of the area, in an unreachable area, shooting people with a beam that kills you in 2 hits.

Its ridiculous. Don't bother saying something about it on OOC; both him & the owner of the game will ignore you, and the sour community will yell at you. Its just one of the many traditions in this game.

Thats basically all there is to the gameplay. Killing people isnt even worth the effort; your character is either too weak or too strong. The staff creates a whole different factor for the game, and this game includes possibly the biggest staff I have ever seen. Unfortunately they do not do anything worth mentioning.

Overall: This game isn't worth playing. Even if you're an avid Megaman fan, you'll get 5 minutes of this game before you get annoyed. With the combined efforts of a sour community, and the notoriously abusive, and useless staff.

If you're looking for an arguably more balanced game, then I suggest waiting for Oondivinezin to put his SSB Byond game back up. Until then, stay far away from this game.
