"Report a rip"
After said rip is reported, what happens afterwards. Do a certain number of people have to report it for a various action to be placed? or..

If what Foomer said is true it's going to take a very long time to delete all of the "highly modified" HUBS. I do believe it's useless if that is true.

It lets BYOND's staff know if a game may need to be removed.

I said the same thing when I returned and looked at the HUB Updates. I think if you report it a rip along with a majority of others and less people report it a None rip then it's marked a rip, I guess.

It's basically a token gesture to show us that the BYOND staff does know about the problem and just doesn't know the best way to solve it yet.

A BYOND news post explained this sorta. The most recent one.
"One other new thing you'll see on games is related to this. If a game has earned published status but it hasn't yet been evaluated to see if it's original or not, our Members can cast a vote on whether the game is a rip (and if so, of which game) or not. Our admins have the ability to see the results of the voting--but not who voted, since it's anonymous--and can decide to keep a game in the published section or remove it. This voting will only appear on eligible entries, so if you don't see it, it means votes aren't even being considered yet."
