A BYOND member should be able to pay a one time fee (Or recurring? I don't know to be honest.) to completely remove ads from a hub of their given choice. This includes the pager ads, and for non members.

I know I'd get it, if I ever got around to making a game that is.
Well no, there's still the connection ads from the pager.
Eh. I think this is too much hassle to be seriously considered, because BYOND would have to weigh the fee against how much they make from video ads and website ads for that particular hub.

Doesn't the standalone disable pager ads anyhow? If it doesn't, I think it should, assuming BYOND makes a cut from the game's subscriptions.
Let's be honest here, anyone with even a bit of knowledge of computers knows how to stop these ads. I just tried the first thing i could come up with and it worked.

I don't advise blocking ads though, it helps the developers a bunch. If you really want to get rid of them, drop a few bucks on a byond membership.

I do however think they should limit the ads to, say, once every hour. having to watch a 30 second video each time i reconnect is quite annoying.

Rule number one of advertising on the internet is making your ads non-intrusive, otherwise people will go out of their way to remove them.
Why would you want to Adblock ads?
