I've been thinking of starting a DQ(Dragon Quest) project that is designed for text-mode byond, which means no graphical icons or sound. Mainly so that the offical non-windows clients can play it fully, a sort of byond text mud if you will. Would anyone be interested in helping with such a project? Please post a comment if you are, and if your a non-member you are also able to post so don't be shy please. Thanks in advance for reading this. Also, to potential players, please vote on the poll attached to this.

Success!

Looks like QEMU is quite handy for emulating BYOND, with full functionality and speed that is fine. I got it to work with excellent speed after some tweaking. Take a look at a sample of the results:
