This isn't what it sounds like. :P

So just a minute ago I was stretching because I felt sore and I felt/heard a cracking sound on my spine. Now it feels a bit better but that still scared me.
(Bone cracks)

I got home from my third day of college and I tried taking the bus home. First time it'd be by myself, but not knowing my way around the city doesn't help. I got on the bus, pay the $1.25 and hold on for dear life as an insane driver in front of the bus cuts in front and continued to make jerky movements on the road. I swear that we must've come within inches of hitting him a few times.
(But tracks)

Eventually the bus reaches its final stop and everyone gets off. Wait a second! It still wasn't my stop yet. I thought that I'd be able to ride the bus all the way around to one of the first stops, which was where my house was located. So now I'm on the street without any money so not only can I not pay for a taxi, but I, embarassingly, don't know the home phone number so I wouldn't have any way of contacting my mother or sister.
(Heart attacks)

The bus starts boarding more people, so without a clue as to what I should do next I slip back in line and try to get on too. Thankfully, the bus driver let me board without paying again so I got home, safe and sound.

Of course, I freaked my mother out when I walked in half an hour before I would normally arrive...since I was supposed to come home with my sister. She's more bus-oriented than I am. Oops.
Your spine cracking isn't anything to be afraid of. It's just a sign of you loosening up your spine ready for some lovely exercise or something.

Also, I don't know my home phone number either. =/
