Manual (search for) Pager update in Feature Requests

Issue hasn't been assigned a status value.
Since the latest two BYOND builds (471.1076 is not triggered yet) took a while to get an automatic pager update notification, I wonder if the pager could contain a little 'Search for Updates' sub menu, embedded under 'Help', which would then browse and parse the build folder, searching, downloading and installing the latest possible version/patch.

On that note, you might want to trigger the 471 update notification, given that the 'Chrome issue' seems to be an annoyance to a lot of people (and they blindly blame BYOND).

No if they release 471 now it going to be a waste because nothing new in the 471 all they have is a few bug fixes and the only new feature is New link() Behavior

I think that you might misunderstand what I am requesting here. BYOND Build 471.1076 has been released already, it is the pager notification on automatic updates that I am requesting.
I do not see any harm in people clicking the 'update' link, downloading a few MB data and their software being updated.

Pretty good suggestion. Normally we try to put updates on the hub immediately but these last few have had some features we wanted to test ahead of time. 471 is now publicly available though.
