Anyone can create maps using &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.byond.com/games/tenkuu/ProeliumMapEditor&quot;&gt;tenkuu's amazing Proelium map editor&lt;/a&gt;, but saving the map requires a subscription.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
tenkuu is also behind the latest version of Proelium II released today, version .40! It adds custom map integration and fixes a variety of bugs.&lt;br/&gt;

I have currently updated the Proelium Map Editor to 2.0 with support for making Proelium 2 maps. The editor still supports the editing of Proelium 1 maps, though.&lt;br/&gt;

For saving either Proelium 1 or Proelium 2 maps you need either a Proelium 1 OR a Proelium 2 subscription.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Integration of custom maps into Proelium 2 is not ready yet, however. </description>

Hitting an opponent head-on will kill them instantly... but beware, as landing on a barrier means instant death!&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;b&gt;POWER UP&lt;/b&gt; - The Zee Warriors draws forth inner power, restoring a small amount of health and energy.             <description>I couldn't be happier about how the release of Proelium II has gone, as the game is appealing to new users and veterans alike. I think that I enjoy playing the game just as much as anyone else, which is a great sign!&lt;br/&gt;

While work on class balance continues, I've been diverting most of my attention to finishing up the subscription-only classes. Many of you have seen the Silk Games staff testing the Hacker and Scout Bot in recent days. Kudos to Reinhartstar (Archville) for the Hacker idea, as it has turned out to be one of the coolest classes in the entire game!&lt;br/&gt;

Tonight I put the finishing touches on the highly anticipated Sniper class, which is going to add an entirely new dimension to Proelium. Allow me to demonstrate:&lt;br/&gt;

            <description>I was testing AA, and I thought that I was hosting the game privately... apparently not. People started to join the server, and I decided to say screw it and turn it into the public play test that I've been meaning to have.&lt;br/&gt;

To learn spells, buy a book or scroll from a vendor and read it, then drag the spell down from the skill tree to one of the hotboxes (1-9) to use it. Numpad 5 with NUMLOCK off is to shoot (.center).</description>

            <description>First off, thank you to everyone who has participated in the public play test of Proelium II for the past few days. It's been a lot of fun and I'm very happy with how the game has turned out. Despite having coded the entire thing, I found myself having just as much fun as people who were playing it for the first time, which is a great sign.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Now that we've determined that the game is stable and that there aren't any game-breaking bugs, I'm going to shift my focus to finishing things up for a full public release. This could take anywhere from a few days days to a couple weeks. During this time I'm not planning on hosting public play sessions on any sort of regular schedule.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
One of my concerns is that the convoluted BYOND Guild system is getting in the way of new players finding this game. I'm wide open to suggestions for getting word about Proelium II out there to the majority of the BYOND player base, if that's even possible anymore.&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
Today will be the final day of planned testing, and the server is live right now! We have a brand new map and mode to test out today.&lt;br/&gt;

            <description>We're back online and ready to do some more public play testing this afternoon! I was amazed by how &lt;i&gt;few&lt;/i&gt; bugs we found yesterday... but all the ones we did find are fixed, and there have been some significant balance tweaks!&lt;br/&gt;

Apart from that, I've only had the chance to add one more map (it's another classic map from the original Proelium). Everyone who stopped by yesterday had a great time, so come an join us public testing round 2!&lt;br/&gt;
