Just thought I'd post here, since some of you have expressed interest in my music in the past.

My first rock CD Red Wire is now available! At the moment, you can purchase it through my (brand new) website at redwire.allhands.com with PayPal, though it will be available at Amazon.com, CD Baby, and CD Street within a few weeks.

Hi all!

My chatterbot Little Mu is up against some stiff competition in the Chatterboxchallenge. I'd appreciate anyone who is interested in this sort of thing to try some fun conversation with her, then rate her on her talents. It will take a few minutes of your time, but it's fun, and would help her greatly, as she stumbled a bit during the question/answer portion of the contest, and does much better with natural conversation.

No MLAAS this week

The short of it is that my hard drive failed. I have managed to recover all of the save files, so all characters will be intact, but I won't be able to rebuild my system back up to run the game this week. I also cannot promise it will be up in time for April 4th, but I will do my best.

Good news is that I bought a new computer which I'll have inside of a week. The new machine is for my music and email, and I'll be using the old one (with a new HD) for a file server, backup system, and (drumroll please...) a MLAAS server! I won't likely be hosting 24/7, but hosting times will definitely be increased. Details to come.

Progress on my CD

Hey all,

It's been awhile since I've posted any new songs, but it doesn't mean I haven't been busy musically! I am almost finished tracking and mixing songs for my CD, and have a mastering artist and graphic artist as well as a CD manufacturer lined up to hopefully get everything done by early May.

I've created a page at http://redwire.allhands.com that has recent mixes of all of the songs, as well as a progress report that is updated often. There are some new songs there that I've never posted before, and descriptions of each track.

Just thought I'd share what consumes most of my life at the moment. Feel free to share your comments, positive or negative. Some of this stuff is pretty far off the beaten track, so it won't be for everyone.

A long seven years

Today I mailed off a check that covered the last of my debt, and I am now 100% free after seven plus years! Oh the glory! The pain and suffering is over!

Perfect timing too. Now I can have a very clean plate for 2003. It's time to reinstitute my 401k, and finally start saving again.

Just wanted to share. Watch those credit cards, kiddos.

I've been working in the studio again recently with Ted Hovis, and we're getting together a 7-song CD for release early next year.

Here's a sample of what we've been working on: Thinking Out Loud. It's still rough in places, but I think it's coming together. I played piano and vibraphone, and sang all the background vocals, as well as did all the tracking and production work.

Just thought I'd share. Let me know if you hate it!

Sorry to sound so harsh, but I hate pages sent to all, and I curse the day Dantom included that feature. It's not my fault that the only way to silence your endless chatter also excludes you from my games. If there were a "ignore pages sent to all" button, I'd be the first to check it, and everyone would be happy. But there isn't, so I'd rather you be unhappy than me.

If you want back in, take me off your pager list (Or swear never again to send a message "to all"), and promise you'll be good from now on.

Lesson learned:
1. Never send a page "to all."
2. If you must send a page "to all," you'd better make sure I'm not a part of your "all."
