My family now wants the Wii.
My mother, my father, my sisters, my brother-in-law, my cousins, my aunt; pretty much my family that I see often enough to commune with. My dad wants Call of Duty 3, my mother wants Twilight Princess, my sisters wants...basically many things, brother-in-law is the same as my sisters, cousins want the same things as me, my aunt also wants Wii Sports...pretty much none of them have ever been that interested in video games, odd how Nintendo has peaked the interest of gamers of all ages. Children that were already interested in video games are interested in the new concept of playing, and adults are interested in something they can do in life...virtually, not to mention older NES games and whatnaught, which some people might have played some time ago.
Honestly, though, I wonder what Nintendo will come up with next...first the DS, (Which had several different features, such as the dual screen, the microphone, and the touch screen, all included in a portable system.) and now the Wii, which is still at a fairly cheap price, considering other prices of things of similar usage. (Like the PlayStation 3, but I'm not really talking about that.) Nintendo is going with alot of innovative, cheap technology to try to deliver something new that everyone can enjoy, be them young or old, and trying to get as interactive, and realistic as possible. So you can't really help but anticipate what they might have coming next, considering, of course, what they have right now, trying to make these "virtual reality" video games into something that simulates life as much as possible, making you do things that you can't do in life, (Without dying, at least.) and still make it seem like your actually doing it.
